Copy trading that stays inside the rules

A trader can have one of their accounts copy another of their own, or copy a strategy another trader has published. Every copied trade still has to pass the rules and limits of the account it lands on, and the firm decides, challenge by challenge, how much copying it allows.

Two ways to copy

In both, each trader copies onto their own account. No one manages anyone else's money.

Between your own accounts

A trader can have one of their accounts copy the trades of another of their accounts.

From a published strategy

A trader can publish one of their accounts as a strategy, under a nickname and with a short description. Other traders at the same firm can copy it onto one of their own accounts.

The top-traders board

Public strategies are listed on a board that traders at the same firm can see.

What the board shows

For each strategy: its result over the starting balance, its largest drawdown, the number of trades, the share of winning trades, the days since its first trade, and its latest trades.

Past results don't promise future ones.

Privacy

Followers see a nickname, never the leader's email address or account number. A trader who makes their profile private stops other traders' copies of it.

How a copy works

Sizing, limits and who can stop it.

Sizing

A copy is sized either as a multiple of the leader's size, such as half, or in proportion to the equity of the two accounts. Stop-loss and take-profit can be copied too.

The follower's rules still apply

Every copied trade has to pass the follower account's own rules and limits, like any other order on that account.

Stopping

The trader can pause or stop a copy at any time. A copy stops by itself when either account ends.

The firm decides

Per challenge: no copying, copying only between the trader's own accounts, or copying public strategies too.

Staff oversight

Staff see every strategy and every copy. They can hide a strategy from the board or stop any copy, with a reason that goes in the audit log.
